January 9th, Paris : Demonstration for sans-papiers people

Well organized demonstration, with dozen of inner security guards

Between 1500( due to police) and 7000 ( due to some organisations). They claim immediate papers for all, and to « live with dignity ». They add: «  we do not need support but egality ». The demonstration started from an occupied bulding, renamed « Minister of regularization for all the Sans Papiers ».

Since several months, hundreds of workers of cleaning companies, and others, are striking and occuping their managers offices, asking for papers. One of the slogan is « j‘y suis, j‘y reste »-I‘m here, I stay.
In their communiqué, these organisations say only one proof to stay should be ask: the proof you live here.
